Greetings from the FIA Conference at Boca Raton – Day Two
Chuck Mackie – Maven Wave Partners
OK, I confess: I didn’t make it to the breakfast speech delivered by CFTC Chairman Gary Gensler. Call it laziness, call it one too many speeches from a regulator: I grabbed a Clif bar from the commissary instead and started my day with the first regular session. If you’re interested, you can read Chairman Gensler’s prepared remarks in their entirety at http://links.mavenwave.com/Gensler_FIA (spoiler alert: he talks a lot about LIBOR. Is anyone else still talking about LIBOR?). I don’t think I missed too much.
